My friend and I drive cross-country twice a year to transport her to and from her winter house in Nevada. Normally, we stay in hotels and really do not appreciate the fact that the poly-blend bedspreads are too hot, the next-door group watches movies or wakes up too often, the dog next door whines too often and we want to relieve it of its owners. But, in the cabin setting, one is allowed the luxury of independence, a feeling (although staged) of independence and autonomy and, in general, a view that does not involve highlights and the sound of highway traffic. Thanks to all of you who have included "cabin" stays with your hotels. We used this feature from Nevada to Minnesota.

The cabins were very clean and nice and quiet which was great after a long day of travel. The location was odd as it was behind the AmericInn in a fairly industrial-like area near hotels, fueling stations, etc that are typical to interstate highway exits. But I felt safe (adult single woman with a dog) and it was surprisingly quiet. I would choose this over any other hotels at a highway exit any day over the other typical optons.

It was a cabin! No pet fee. Great ambiance. Loved the front porch looking out to the little pond. Even though it was close to the highway, there wasn't a lot of noise. Cute and comfortable. Very clean. After being on the road a few days staying in standard hotel rooms, this was a fun and unique experience. The staff was welcoming and friendly.

There were 6 independent little cabins. The cabins were set up similar to a normal hotel room. They allowed dogs which was really nice for us! It was quite and comfy. It was also clean. The staff was very nice and the breakfast staff kept everything filled.

Aysha

Private, pretty quiet (it's Nebraska, you can still hear I-80 a little), and really convenient for traveling with our dog! We will absolutely stay here every time we travel through Ogallala. Oh, and the ladies running the breakfast are seriously the best.
